kieran

as many of you know my nephew ethan is really what has inspired my love in children's photography. well my bestfriend jack introduced me to a friend from undergrad a few years back, she had a baby last year, and i found out she wanted to get her son into modeling. she had some professional shots taken and i saw them on her facebook, i then offered to shoot her when i came to town. her son kieran was by far the best child i have shot next to ethan. he was so happy, and easy to work with, i know this was the first of many more shoot with him and amber!

shooting the bff...

my best friend jack has one of the most unique spirits of anyone that i know. we are both extremely artistic individuals, and i think that is what makes our friendship work! i will be moving to dallas, texas soon so i decided to take a little trip there for spring break to check out the city, and have a lot of fun. jack and i decided to do a shoot with him in one of our fav. parts of town the bishop arts district in the oak cliff section of the city. i first visited this area back in 2006 with my other bff brandon for a party after the dallas premier of maurice jamal's dirty laundry. the character of the area is great....

another new ad...

kye & tye's birthday event @ House Of Dereon Media Center

back in november of 2008 i had the pleasure of taking fotos at an event in pearland with other young african-american professionals in the houston area. at this event i met a realtor named kye parker, and we hit it off quite well. i told her i would soon be in the market for a new condo in houston and i wanted to keep in contact with her. she told me she and he sister would be having a birthday party in march at the house of dereon media center in midtown. i was excited, those of you that know me know i am not into the whole knowles family cult thing, but i wanted to see the facility where destiny child did photo shoots and special event so i jumped. now guys i am still trying to get the shutter speed, lighting together so bare with me, but the event was great!

michelle

it's special everytime someone contacts me about taking photos of them. michelle is a close family friend, i met her about 6 or 7 years ago when i used to drive her and my cousin to their boyfriends house. well michelle chose to attend my
alma matter pvamu. she hit me up in december asking if i would do her grad photos, she explained that she does not like the airbrushed look that most photographers opt to use. so i told her okay, i am building my portfolio so let's do it. she explained that she was not very photogentic, so i told her we would work through it and we did. we started off at houston's discovery green park in downtown where i ran into c. dixon from cdixon photos. i told him it was too many people for us to focus so we moved the shoot to the musuem district. i hope you enjoy...... we will probally end up doing another shoot...
